I’m always always ALWAYS trying to find creative ways to get together with my girlfriends. I’ll be the first to say that a bottle of wine amongst friends is always reason enough for me to get together. Yet, being able to turn a simple gathering in to a festive party is always exciting. Especially when it’s super duper easy. We took a standard Girls Night In (4 of my best friends, wine, compfy clothes, good snacks) and added one unique touch: Colorwear packs of t-shirts & markers.
I didn’t tell the girls that I had a fun activity planned for us, which I think made the evening even more exciting.
Once the wine started flowing, all the girls got to pick their favorite t-shirt and we went to work! There’s 175 different designs created by some popular adult coloring book artists like Valentina Harper & Angela Van Dam. Colorwear is actually a NEW product line by The Mountain®, who’s focus is to created ‘wearable art’.
Along with a t-shirt, everyone got their own pack of markers and a carboard sheet to place inside the shirt to prevent color bleeding (BRILLIANT!).
For mine, I grabbed a white t-shirt with flowers. Loved that I could use all the colors to really make it pop!
We spent the whole evening chatting and coloring … a PERFECT way to end a busy work week!
My friend Sara LOVED the bright purple color!
This coloring party was a perfect end to a busy week …. a fun and creative way to unwind. And the girls LOVED that it was a surprise!
And don’t we ALL love a good deal? You can get 25% off your Colorwear order simply by signing up for their newsletter. If FREE is more your style (who doesn’t love FREE?), scroll down to apply to our contest to win a full Colorwear pack!
Not only did we have a fun night in, but everyone literally got a ‘souvenir’ from the night!
Once you’ve made your masterpiece, you’ll want to take good care of it! Here’s what we did:
Before the party started, I washed all the t-shirts in cold water with normal detergent (just NO bleach) and dried in the dyer. Then after decorating, I washed again in warm water on the gentle cycle with mild soap & laid flat to dry. And that’s it! Surprisingly easy to take care of.
Don’t forget to apply to win your 1 of 20 Colorwear packs! Giveway is going on until 8/25/2016.
I-C will randomly select 20 winners from all program entries and will handle fulfilment of the winning prizes. Open to US residents only.

We love coloring tshirts and started with a plain tshirt that we used a black marker on to create the picture to color. We soon moved on to tshirts with designs already printed on them – there is no better way to celebrate your coloring than to wear the end result!
