You spend months, maybe even years, planning for the big day! From flowers to invites to guest lists, weddings surely are most largest event most people will ever plan. If you’re anything like my most type A friends, you haven’t missed a thing. But any great event planner will tell you that you want to be prepared for ALL scenarios and your wedding day is no exception.
Most brides are booked solid from the minute they wake up on their big day to the last dance that evening, with little time to deal with any fire drills that may arise … big OR small! Therefore, EVERY bride should have a Survival Kit with all the essentials to get them through their big day WITHOUT a hitch!
The first item (items!!) that go in our survival kit are the Scotch™ Essentials. We never want to think that anything could happen to our wedding dress ON our wedding day, but what if??? What if the seam of your dress starts to snag? A strap on your shoe comes loose? You find a rip in your dress? Oooohhh who’s getting a little nervous just reading this? Well no need to panic! Grab a bridesmaid and your Permanent Hem Bonding Strips to solve any these scenarios:
Erase deodorant stain in seconds using the White Mark Eraser without adding water! (perfect for your rehearsal dinner dress)
Grab your cutest toiletry bag (in your wedding colors) and fill it with our list of over 30 essentials for your big day ….
To grab a copy of your own Wedding Day Survival List, just download it from our Organization Toolkit now!

On the day of your wedding ask a bridesmaid to store your survival kit for safe keeping. If your dressing room is easy to get to that’s a great place to store as well. Another option that I’ve seen a lot of brides do is to store in the lady’s room. You’d be surprised how many spots in many hotel or banquet hall restrooms are perfect for storing supplies.
